Last week @londonbeautifullife thanks to @londontheatre went to see The Woman in Black at the Fortune Theatre. Not knowing anything about the play I had no idea what to expect. But I really wish I brought a pillow with me as I had no idea I would ever get terrified whilst watching a theatre play. Here is our non spoiler review of this fantastic play which has been in theatres for over 3 decades.

In the heart of the West End, Covent Garden's at the Fortune Theatre comes the spookiest play that has been on the West End for more than 30 years, acted by two incredible actors (or is it two) performing a play that starts to become extremely real as the script goes along.

The two incredible leads Stuart Fox and Matthew Spencer and director Robin Herford really brings this incredible West End performance alive but sucking the audience in with the thrills and bumps that come throughout the play.

The setting of the play is set in the early 1900's. The beginning of the play is set in London, but moves to an eerily none city part of the UK, to bring the chills and thrills alive.

The Woman in Black has proven to be a huge success not only in Theatres but on the silver screen.

With the theatre play bringing all the scares and humour to life. It also has an incredible set design for you to be amazed by throughout the play.

The acting is incredible and has some great one liners and laugh out loud moments as well as scare out loud moments. At a number of points during the show I nearly split my drink due to the multiple scare moments.

The Fortune Theatre is based in Covent Garden on Russell Street, with the nearest tube station being Covent Garden and nearest railway station being Charing Cross.

Overall The Woman in Black really does go Bump in your Seats. I would give this show a 5/5. It is utterly entertaining and scary all at once.
