D&D London’s Haugen herald Spring with the Launch of their Rooftop Terrace Alpine-inspired Stratford restaurant opens their panoramic rooftop for the season!

10th March – Haugen, the Alpine-inspired restaurant in Stratford opens their impressive rooftop terrace to welcome the arrival of the Spring and Summer months. Boasting panoramic views across East London and the Olympic Park, the rooftop will host a line-up of London’s hottest DJs late into the night.

Open Thursday to Sunday, Haugen’s rooftop provides the Ideal backdrop to enjoy post work drinks with colleagues, weekend cocktails with family or to while away a summer evening over sundowners with friends. As the days get brighter and the evenings longer, guests can ascend the staircases that snake their way around the exterior of the undulating building and settle into the plush orange banquettes and sofas, the perfect place to take in the stunning views over the Aquatic Centre and the Orbit with a schnapps in hand.

Haugen’s handcrafted Spring cocktail menu offers something for everyone including a floral Spruce Blossom Martini (Tanqueray 10, Grapefruit & Rose Ketel One, Rose Spruce Vermouth, Kalamansi Citrus, Grapefruit, Spruce oil, Spruce Essence), the signature Haugen Breeze (Butterflypea Absolut Vanilla Vodka, Moose Alpine Spirit, Bergamot puree, Lavender, Fever Tree Yuzu & Mexican Lime Soda), the smoky Hunters Mistake (White Chocolate infused Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Millionaire’s Shortbread Syrup, Amaro Montenegro) and an elegant The First Lady (Taittinger Brut Champagne, Elderflower, Chambord Black Raspberry liqueur, Belsazar Dry). Continuing to champion mountain classics, guests will be able to enjoy a selection of Snacks such as Potted Pork, Celeriac & Mustard, Pickles with Crostini and Oven Roasted Camembert served with a rustic baguette. For those looking for a more substantial taste of the Alps, there are Flamenkuche (Alpine pizzas) freshly baked to order from the ‘Classic’ with Crème Fraiche, Smoked Pancetta, Caramelised Onions & Chives to the ‘Swiss Hot’ topped with Calabrian ‘nduja, Swiss Cheese & Jalapeños.

Set to become a Spring/Summer destination, revellers can expect the lively après ski atmosphere of the slopes to be transported to East London, as Haugen welcome a line-up of top DJs to their rooftop.
