CARPO UNVEILS NEW FLAGSHIP CONCEPT STORE IN THE HEART OF LONDON’S PICCADILLY

carpo is an innovative international retail concept based on the original product mix of nuts, chocolate and coffee. It reinvented the way people perceived those nutritional treasures accompanied with dried fruit, honey and seeds, by developing a new concept, whilst staying true to the Greek origins of the company, carpo works with independent, small growers worldwide who produce only the finest varieties of nuts, dried fruits and honey, taking guests who enter the store on an enchanting journey for the senses with irresistible aromas and flavours. Founded over 30 years ago, carpo currently operates 11 stores, with six in Athens, Greece, one in Dubai and four in London, with a new opening on Glasshouse Street in autumn 2023. Its first store opened in Athens in 2011 and its first London site was launched in Piccadilly in 2013.

World renowned premium hand-picked and pure nuts, handcrafted chocolate, and aromatic coffee brand, carpo, opened the doors of its flagship store in central London on 1st December 2023. Situated in one of the Crown Estate's most iconic listed buildings, 10 Glasshouse Street, the new site marks a significant milestone as carpo celebrates its 10th anniversary in the capital. It was previously home to London's largest 5-star hotel, Regent Palace when it first opened in 1915 and was recognised as a Grade II listed building by English Heritage in 2004.

Set across two storeys, the new 3,656 sqft Glasshouse Street concept store, located off Regent Street just moments from Piccadilly Square, features an extended indoor and outdoor seated area, with a luxurious range of nuts, chocolate and coffee, along with the introduction of new products. The upstairs seated area features 30 covers, with additional seating outside the boutique, which will be open year round.

Available exclusively at carpo Glasshouse Street, the store offers a selection of indulgent ice creams, from Greek Pistachio to Double Espresso, paired with unique carpo toppings, from nuts and granola, to delicious nut pastes, such as Hazelnut and Almond Paste with Honey and Cocoa, Pistachio and Peanut Butter, available to eat in or takeaway.

Guests will also be able to enjoy a range of authentic Greek yoghurt bowls blended with pure thyme honey and topped with nutritious freshly roasted nuts, from the Green Wellness Bowl with spirulina, chia seeds, granola nuts and honey, to Mental Health Booster with hazelnut and almond paste cocoa, granola cocoa and honey. A mouthwatering vegetarian option is also available, Veggie Pistachio Bowl, with soya yoghurt, oat, pure pistachio paste, granola nuts, pistachio kernels and honey. A variety of distinctive smoothies is a must have addition to their portfolio; Pistachio, Berries Biscuit, Cocoa Honey, and Hazelnut Banana, all packed with nutritional values.

Founded over 30 years ago, carpo has a strong presence in prestigious locations across London and with the new opening will boast four stores in Glasshouse Street, Hans Crescent, Knightsbridge and Selfridges London, as well as internationally with six locations in the most prestigious areas of Athens, Greece and the introduction of its first site in Dubai in 2022. The Dubai store is situated in Fashion Avenue in The Dubai Mall, one of the largest malls in the world, alongside high end international fashion brands.
